    SIMCom’s LTE CAT1 module SIM7500JC has passed the certification by KDDI in Japan


    SIMCom’s LTE CAT1 module SIM7500JC passed the certification by KDDI in Japan. SIM7500 has now become the world’s first and the only CAT1 module certified by DOCOMO/SOFTBANK/KDDI in Japan. This shows the determination and strength of SIMCom to break into the Japanese market. 

     


    The SIMCom LTE CAT1 product line is made up of two series, namely, SIM7600 and SIM7500. The SIM7500 series is further subdivided into SIM7500A (for the North American market), SIM7500E (for Europe, Middle East, Africa, Korea, Thailand, etc.) and SIM7500JC/JE (for the Japanese market).

     

    SIM7500JC is LGA packaged to support LTE-FDD B1/B18/B19/B26 frequency bands. SIM7500JC has a size of 24*27*2.75mm, weighs 4.0g, and supports LTE CAT1’s uplink and downlink transmission rates (5Mbps and 10Mbps).

     

     

    SIM7500 supports diversified hardware interfaces such as UART/USB2.0/GPIO/antenna (main antenna, diversity antenna, GNSS antenna) /SIM card (1.8V/3.0V) /PCM/ADC/GNSS(GPS/GLONASS/BDS/Galileo). In addition, SIM7500JC supports protocols such as TCP/IP/IPV4/IPV6/Multi-PDP/FTP/FTPS/HTTP/HTTPS/DNS and functions such as DTMF (dual tone multiple frequency) audio record playback/VoLTE (IMS-based voice service)/FOTA.

     

    The SIM7500 series can be applied to fleet management, vehicle-mounting, security, asset tracking, smart agriculture, smart meters, routes, gateways and other application scenarios.
